I’m Here to Help
My goal is to take the time and provide a safe space for each individual who seeks care. If someone does not feel I am a good fit for them, I can help connect with other resources if needed or wanted. Compassion and safety for everyone is paramount. I don’t know if this makes me unique but these are the things that are most important to me as a mental health clinician.
Anxiety Disorders
Anxiety disorders involve persistent, excessive worry or fear that can interfere with daily activities, relationships, and overall well-being. They can show up in many forms—such as generalized anxiety, panic attacks, social anxiety, or phobias—and often include both physical and emotional symptoms like restlessness, difficulty concentrating, and a racing heart.
OCD
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a mental health condition characterized by unwanted, intrusive thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviors or mental acts (compulsions) performed to relieve the distress those thoughts cause. These patterns can become time-consuming and interfere with daily life, even though individuals often recognize their thoughts and actions as irrational.
Depression
Depression is a mood disorder that goes beyond feeling sad—it can affect how you think, feel, and function in daily life. It often includes symptoms like persistent sadness, loss of interest in activities, changes in sleep or appetite, low energy, and feelings of hopelessness or worthlessness.
Bipolar disorder
Bipolar disorder is a mood disorder characterized by extreme shifts in mood, energy, and activity levels, with periods of intense emotional highs (mania or hypomania) and lows (depression). These mood swings can affect a person’s ability to function in daily life and may involve changes in behavior, sleep patterns, and decision-making.
Thought Disorders
Thought disorders are conditions that affect the clarity, organization, and coherence of a person’s thoughts, making it difficult to communicate or process information effectively. These disorders, often seen in conditions like schizophrenia, can lead to disorganized thinking, trouble focusing, or disconnected speech and ideas.
